Rather than assume that students have the time to complete hundreds of problems over the summer, I broke down my summer packet into 8 sections that we could complete throughout the year or in one day!
Rather than expecting my students to remember everything they needed to know, I provided videos of me working through the problems and detailed worked out solutions.
I provided intro videos for each concept reviewing the key processes you needed to remember before completing your work.
I created essential skills practice work to reienforce those tricky subjects that doing 1 or 2 examples was not going to cover.
I provided a checklist that helped the students follow along in class as well as review the key processes touched in each chapter.
Each year I gave this course to my students, took their feedback and refined it.
